So, slight catching up to do. We defeated the horror and it's minions. Then Peter, the boy we saved, turned out to be one of the passions, and made it possible for us to chase the Horror into the Astral plane so we could ensure the horror was completely killed this time.
Finding ourselves in the Astral plane with little gear, few weapons and less armour we took off after the Horror. We all had these black tendrils pointing us in it's direction, making it quite easy to follow. It had taken some refuge in the astral shadow of one of a few houses outside the Kaer.
Morgue attempted to send his Astral Horror in first, but it didn't make it to the building before it vanished. Who knew sending an illusion after an Illusion-based horror would be so ineffectual? In an effort to keep things from devolving into a stand-off type situation, with the Horror in cover taking potshots at us, Viran rushed the door. I didn't want to give it time to plan, time to prepare, or time to escape. Viran took some solid hits, but managed to get in, and hit it. When Slate pushed his way in, he also managed to get a shot in.
The Horror backed out and took refuge in another building, but neither Arumvander nor Morgue were in a good position to take a shot.
Slate and Viran left after it, and in a moment of respite, Morgue used the butter spider box to apply some healing to Viran. Viran then charged after the Horror again, and was able to strike it a second time. Arumvander and Slate were able to get in a few shots and finish it off, but not before the Horror had killed Viran.
